Planning Golf Trips With Friends

If you have been golfing for many years now, you most likely have a group of friends that you usually go with. This could be just a few guys, or a whole group of 10 or more. Usually you have become very familiar with all of them, and can hardly even golf without them. I know that when I am not with my group of buddies, I honestly am worthless when it comes to golfing. I’m comfortable around my friends, and it improves my game by a lot.

Having a group of friends who golf with you can be specially good when you begin to plan a golfing trip of some sort. I personally have a yearly schedule with my friends. Every year at approximately the same time of year, we plan a golfing trip and take it. Usually the actual planners are different every year. If you have 3 people working to secure the hotel arrangements and golf course reservations, it will be an easy process. Then, every year you just have to rotate the 3 people so that the same 3 don’t get forced to do all the work.

When you are traveling with a large group of friends, you will probably feel a little safer than if you were traveling alone. Each person can be responsible for a certain thing, and therefore you will most likely not lose anything. If you and your group of friends are willing to work together and cooperate in order to make the trip more fun, then there is a much lower chance of any sort of disaster or mistake ruining your trip. If you have never considered taking a golf trip with your buddies, you should bring it up next time you are all together.

When you take a golfing trip with your usual group of friends, I think you will find that the whole thing goes more smoothly overall. You can usually save money by having group rates with the resort and golf course, while at the same time enjoying the company of the friends you love to be around. Even the car trip there can be fun (if you don’t plan to fly, that is). I have found that these adventures really make me feel like I’m back in High School again. Just doing what I love to do with the people I love to be with. Not a care in the world.
